2005-06 Adult Classes Weekly Waves* on S. Whidbey Island *Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms™, led by Emily Day who is trained by Gabrielle Roth as a teacher of the 5Rhythms practice. Join Emily in her home studio overlooking the seaside village of Langley and snow-capped Mt. Baker. Put the psyche in motion and it will heal itself is the primary teaching of the 5Rhythms work whether the dancers are neighborhood moms, teenagers or jiving gents. Rather than steps to follow, each rhythm is a different energy field in which to find your own expression and choreography, stretching the imagination as well as the body. The 5Rhythms (flowing, staccato, chaotic, lyrical and stillness) are useful for beginning movers as well as seasoned dancers ready for another foray into the healing world of the body, mind, heart and soul.
